As I’m writing this, it’s currently 59 degrees outside with temps dipping below 45 for the past few nights.

Sounds like a normal, December day, right?

But this is Florida—the land of never-ending sunshine and humidity that turns meticulously straightened hair into frizzy waves within minutes.

So in addition to unpacking all the sweaters, boots, and fuzzy socks {usually reserved for our trips to New York} hot chocolate suddenly becomes a menu-must.

Now that’s a cold weather trend I can get behind!

Especially when this recipe offers all the features hot chocolate should have—rich, creamy, decadent, and oh-so-smooth—while the convenience of the crockpot keeps this soul-warming beverage piping hot all night long.

You know…just in case you invite fellow party-goes to share.
