The Best Coupon Sites to Help You Save

I used to think the Sunday paper was our only option to clipping coupons and saving money. Oh my, has that changed!

Technology has made it possible for us to get coupons by email, phone, and reward cards. Weekly ads are now completely online as well, including future circulars!

It’s definitely more convenient, not to mention less paper waste. And if I still want to print a bunch of coupons, I have the option to only print ones I’m actually going to use. What’s not to love?

The following links are a compilation of best coupon sites I’ve found, and many of them have become my absolute favorites. Get your bookmark tool ready, ’cause we’re about to save a bunch!

1. Printable coupons

I try to check at least one or two of these sites before each and every grocery shopping trip. You may notice that many carry the same kinds of coupons, but use that to your advantage and print off more than one.

Printable Coupons | Best Coupon Sites

    • Coupons.com – Has the best collection of coupons to print, plus an option to save coupons to participating loyalty cards. Check back, and check often…new items are added each week!
    • Redplum – A different set of coupons, can change based on location.
    • SmartSource – Yet another set of coupons, changes on location, and has the option to send coupons to a Cellfire account. <– {See below}
    • Betty Crocker – Clip coupons from the front page, and sign up for the newsletter to receive exclusive offers and yummy recipes.
    • Target – Store coupons that can be combined with manufacturer’s coupons for maximum savings, or, if you live in the South, they can be used at Publix. {If considered a competitor}

I would also look for your favorite companies and brands on Facebook. Most of the time, they will offer a high value coupon in exchange for a “like”.

2. E-Coupons

With e-coupons, you can download apps onto your smart phone and use it right in the checkout lane. No more worries about losing paper coupons…..ahem.

ecoupons | Best Coupon Sites

General e-coupons:

  • Cellfire – Save coupons to participating loyalty cards, or download the Cellfire app to scan at the checkout register. Savings will come off immediately.
  • Saving Star – Send e-coupons to participating loyalty cards, then scan at the register. Receipt total will not change, but savings will be sent via Paypal, bank deposit, or Amazon gift card within the month.

Store e-coupons:

    • Kroger – Load coupons directly onto your loyalty card. Cannot be combined with manufacturer’s coupons.
    • Winndixie – Load coupons directly onto your loyalty card. View loaded, redeemed, and expired coupons within your account. Cannot be combined with manufacturer’s coupons.
    • Publix – Register to view coupons on your smartphone, then have cashier use your phone number to redeem.
    • Price Chopper – Load both manufacturer’s coupons and store coupons onto your Advantage card.

Craft store apps with coupons:

    • Hobby Lobby | Michaels | Joanns – Download the app and show coupon to cashier when checking out.

Even though your store may not be listed here, they still may have an app or coupon program available. I would definitely check before you shop.

3. Coupon codes

I never buy anything online without first typing the website into a coupon code database. Even if I can’t find any promo or coupon codes listed, I’ll often do a Google search just to make sure I’m not missing anything!

Coupon Codes | Best Coupon Sites

    • Retailmenot – Includes daily top coupon codes, plus free shipping and printable coupons.
    • CouponCodes.com – All coupon codes on the site are hand-verified, meaning you shouldn’t get stuck with a code that doesn’t work.
    • FreeShipping.org – A one stop shop for all FREE shipping offers.

Though not technically classified as coupon code sites, you might as well earn a little cash back with Rakutan or MyPoints if you’re already shopping online.

4. Coupon blogs

Obviously, there are hundreds of deal blogs on the web, and many cover the same kinds of deals. This list is of the ones I personally visit.

Coupon Blogs | Best Coupon Sites

    • Money Saving Mom – My favorite! This blog has the most extensive list I’ve seen, plus access to a really thorough coupon database. You also have the option to subscribe to deals from your local stores – there are hundreds listed.
    • Passionate Penny Pincher – Covers Publix stores, plus drugstore match-ups. Also highlights what you can get for FREE every week.

Other sites mentioned by readers on Facebook:

    • Hip2Save  | Cuckoo For Coupons | True Couponing

If you’d like to find a local blogger who does deals for your area, Google “local blogger” with your city and state.

5. Group coupons

Note: These are not good deals if you don’t plan to use them, so make sure you have a plan before you buy!

Group Coupons | Best Coupon Sites

    • Groupon – Save up to 90% on things to do, see, and eat. One featured deal per day, plus access to many other deals. Groupon Coupons is also another great new way to save at Groupon, and lists over 55,000 coupons from more than 8,000 stores, all completely free! Top stores right now include Nordstrom, Walgreens and Shutterfly, but be sure to check back often as they are always adding more.
    • Living Social – try something new for a rock-bottom price, share your deal, and if 3 people sign up, it’s FREE for you!

One thing you will notice, is that the more you clip, print, and search for deals, the more likely you are to save.

However, do not feel like you need to follow every single coupon site that exists. It’s not necessarily. Pick only a few favorites, and bookmark them for quick reference on an internet toolbar.

What coupon sites would you add to this list?

Disclosure: Some of the links in the post above are affiliate links. This means if you click on the link and purchase the item, I will receive an affiliate commission. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will add value to my readers. Read my full disclosure policy here.

I have found that the sites specific to the store you’re going to are great, since they focus only on that store’s policy and keep track of unpublished deals. This is especially true with Target! Now that they’ve introduced mobile coupons and iartwheel and the Red card… Plus other coupons, it can be confusing.

Swagbucks are digital points that you earn for doing internet searches, shopping online, watching videos, or taking the daily poll. Once they add up you can get some pretty sweet gift cards!

After using your coupons, you can download Ibotta and Checkout 51 (apps) which give you rebates when you shop. Checkout 51 has fewer rebates but no store restrictions. Ibotta has a ton of rebates, you can work in team challenges (with your friends on Facebook), and it’s not just grocery items – they have deals for best buy, gnc, movie tickets, online stores, etc.

I’m new at this couponing thing, living on SS & SSI you have to cut cost anyway you can to make it. Alot of the sites I have check out are not the greatest and hard to get around in or cost so much to join. How many or about how many of these sites are free to use/join and really work? I’m wanting to get serious about this, but like I said I’m a new born baby at trying.
While I’m on here can anyone have suggestions for someone like myself just trying to start out?
I am going to check out some or all the ones posted under my coupon site email which didn’t take me long to learn that one fast. LOL
    Thanks, Sherry

      Hi Sherry,

Online couponing can be so frustrating sometimes. I really hear you when you talk about sites being difficult to navigate. The one I use the most currently is coupons.com and of course I love Ibotta on my phone for cash back rebates: https://kalynbrooke.com/money-saving-tips/best-money-saving-app/

I don’t have a big couponing guide on this site – however my friend Ruth over at Living Well Spending Less has you covered with a step by step series on how to get the most for your money using coupons. You can read that series over on her website: http://www.livingwellspendingless.com/beginners-guide-to-coupons/thebeginners-guide-to-coupons-2/

      I hope that helps!

I used to feel guilty for reading fiction novels. I used to feel guilty for reading fiction novels. 😔⁣
⁣
Once in high school, someone told me that I needed to expand my world through real stories and information instead of reading all that fluff. 🥴⁣
⁣
I understand the point they were trying to make. If you want to learn how to do something or get to know historical figures or grow personally in a positive way, non-fiction will help you get there. ⁣
⁣
But fiction matters too... for so many reasons! Here are my three: 📚⁣
⁣
1. Fiction helps me practice empathy. I see the world with new eyes because of the way the author invites me to step into the shoes of a beloved character. 🥰⁣
⁣
2. With fiction, you can live thousands of lives. George R.R. Martin said, “A reader lives a thousand lives before he dies. The man who never reads lives only one.” Fiction allows me to enter a world I don’t get to experience in real life. 💗⁣
⁣
3. Fiction helps me write better non-fiction. When we hear a well-told story, our brain reacts as if we are experiencing the story ourselves. So when I read a particularly captivating passage, it gives me ideas on how to weave storytelling into my writing too. 💪⁣
⁣
I’d love to hear why you think fiction matters. Comment below and tell me one of your favorite things about reading fiction!⁣
⁣
And if you love books just as much as I do, I invite you to follow my new bookstagram account @theunclutteredbookshelf where we can talk about books ALL the time. 🤩
STORAGE IDEA… for paint swatches! ☝ Keep and l STORAGE IDEA… for paint swatches! ☝ Keep and label the colors you use, then tuck them away in a small envelope for reference. ⁣
⁣
Whenever I go searching for a new rug or pillows, I grab this envelope so I have ALL my paint colors on hand. I can match the colors seamlessly without trying to guess if the blue on my walls trends more blue than green. 🤔⁣
⁣
Another perk? You won’t spend an excessive amount of time in HomeGoods waffling between decorating decisions. Not that I’ve ever done that... 😆⁣

‘Tis the season for spring-cleaning your home … and your finances! 💸⁣
⁣
While most of us use the spring season to deep clean spaces we might otherwise forget (or ignore—fan blades, I’m talking to you), let’s not forget how necessary it is to do a financial check-in too. 💰⁣
⁣
If it’s been a while since you last overhauled your budget, updated your savings goals, etc., not to worry. I have just the thing to give your finances a fresh start! 🥳⁣
⁣
On the blog this week, I’ve listed 7 essential steps to help you clear out the cobwebs. Don’t be intimidated—I promise it will be fun! And once you have these systems in place, you’ll enjoy less stress during the rest of the year. ⁣

⚡NEWSFLASH:⚡ While there’s so much you could ⚡NEWSFLASH:⚡ While there’s so much you could be doing, there’s only a handful of things you can do at one time. 💪⁣
⁣
The authors of the book The One Thing get this. ⁣
⁣
If you’ve not yet read this book, here’s the main premise: 📣⁣
⁣
Not everything can matter equally. If everything is important, then nothing is. And extraordinary results are directly determined by how you narrow your focus. ⁣
⁣
In other words? Balance is nothing more than an illusion. 🔮⁣
⁣
On the surface, balance sounds like an ideal destination, where every part of our life will magically fall into place and we’ll finally experience the peace and contentment we long for.⁣
⁣
But balance prevents you from “going all in” on anything. Balance chains you to the middle so you can avoid the extremes of the right and left, never committing a significant amount of time to any one area of your life. If you approach anything with balance, each task will tug at you, claiming just as much importance as the next. ⚠⁣
⁣
And equal approaches almost never result in equal outcomes. 🙅⁣
⁣
So embrace being out of balance. Go “all in” on the things that are important to you and let the rest go. 👋⁣
⁣
One of my favorite quotes from The One Thing is, “The key to success isn’t in all the things we do, but in the handful of things we do well.” 🥳⁣
⁣
Think about what you want to do well and then leave what you can behind. And of course, grab the book if you’re able and add it to your reading stack. I have a feeling you’ll love it like I did! 💞⁣
⁣
Have you read this book yet?
The discbound notebook is the BEST thing to happen The discbound notebook is the BEST thing to happen to bullet journaling. It’s true! 🤯⁣
⁣
If you’ve never heard of this type of notebook before, it contains two covers (front and back) with your pages sandwiched in the middle. But the differentiating factor are the “discs” that hold everything together. 🥰⁣
⁣
With a three-ring binder, you can’t fold the notebook back on itself. But with a discbound notebook, you CAN, which allows for easier writing. And you don’t have those annoying snaps of a three-ring binder either! Just pull the page off and then press it back down when you’re done. 😉⁣
⁣
With a discbound notebook, you have the freedom to…⁣
⁣
1️⃣ Rearrange pages however you wish and whenever you wish 💪⁣
2️⃣ Organize your planner into sections 🎉⁣
3️⃣ Use bullet journal printables to save time drawing layouts (this is the solution to the loudest objection I hear about bullet journaling) ⏰⁣
4️⃣ Throw away pages when you mess up (as opposed to ripping a page out of a bound notebook and risk the whole notebook falling apart) 😳⁣
⁣
If you’re not satisfied with the 2021 planner you picked, try a discbound notebook ... bullet journal style. This week’s blog post dishes all the details on what you need to set one up along with a video on how I use mine! 📣⁣
⁣
Drop a notebook emoji in the comments below if you want the link. 📒
Last week the world watched Harry and Meghan’s t Last week the world watched Harry and Meghan’s tell-all interview. 📺⁣
⁣
I wouldn’t say I’m obsessed with the royal family (even though I did hang a photo of Prince William in my high school locker!). But I bought a pint of non-dairy Ben & Jerry’s ice cream and settled in for the two-hour tell-all interview. 🍦⁣
⁣
And here’s my main takeaway:⁣
⁣
Suicidal thoughts. 💭⁣
⁣
Yep, we’re going there today. ⁣
⁣
When someone says they “didn’t want to be alive,” don’t ignore their pleas or pass them off as attention-seekers or say they can’t get help because it would look bad on the royal family (all things that were told to Meghan). 🤯⁣
⁣
Nope. When someone says that, believe them. ⁣
⁣
Even though my life looks completely different than Meghan’s, depression whispered the same lies into my ear. And when I tried to get help, I was given Christian books and resources that criticized medication and labeled depression as a spiritual issue. ⁣
⁣
We must remember that words hold power. When we throw out flippant remarks about mental health, it negatively affects the way people view themselves. 👀⁣
⁣
Their brain is already at war. We don’t need to ruin their chances of winning. 🏆⁣
⁣
So regardless of your opinion about Meghan or the royal family, I hope you hear my heart in this. 💞⁣
⁣
We need to stop believing people only when it’s too late. We need to believe them now… and make sure they know they have our full support. Someone close to you right now could be struggling with their own thoughts and you don’t even know it. 🤔⁣
⁣
So be careful what you say. ⁣
⁣
Meghan probably won’t hear or read your opinion, but your friend will.
