Description
Simple Steamed Rice is a super cheap and filling addition to any meal — I especially love pairing this with my Easy Chicken Veggie Stir Fry, but you could easily use it as the foundation to a variety of dishes! Hands down the tastiest rice recipe you’ll ever try.

- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 1/2 cups rice
- 3 cups chicken broth (or water)
- 1/2 tsp salt
Instructions
- Melt butter in large saucepan over medium heat.
- Add rice and sauté, stirring frequently until rice is fragrant and the grains have turned from slightly translucent to solid, creamy white {about 3 minutes}.
- Add chicken broth {or water} and salt. Cover and set to medium low to bring to a simmer. If rice starts to boil, lower the temperature even more.
- Cook for 15-25 minutes until all liquid is absorbed and rice is soft and fluffy.
