The Chocolate Chip Muffin Recipe that will Make Your Weekend

These muffins always remind me of the special times my mom made them for sleepovers, lazy Saturday mornings, and sometimes, just because.
She gave me the recipe when I married and moved out on my own, but it’s just not quite the same as visiting my parents and walking in to find these mouthwatering chocolate chip muffins waiting for me.
There’s nothing like a homemade recipe made by mom, am I right?
Besides, these muffins are far from ordinary—they have a super special ingredient that turns every bite into an amazing experience.
And while they are, of course, best when eaten fresh, they freeze really well too. When I’m ready for a morning snack, I can pop it in the microwave for about 15 seconds. Just enough to start those chocolate chips oozing again!
